Wiki Channel co-founder, Nutta of da Buttas, has just returned from a long, unannounced hiatus from producing shows and movies with two new projects.
Upcoming Wiki Channel Original Series, Emma & Johnny in the 21st Century, is set to premiere on May 4th, 2015. It will star Wiki Records recording artist Laura Minx and Pretty Geeky star Noah Carson as the titular characters Emma and Johnny. Minx and Carson will be joined by Max Nickel (Juliana and the Babysitting Adventures, Super Cool Cori) and newcomer Amera Columbia. The series will focus on Emma Fulley and Johnathan Freeman, two kids from the 16th century, accidentally tagging along in time traveler Neal Continuum's time machine and arriving in the 21st century. Unable to return them to their home era without damaging the space-time continuum, Neal is forced to stay in the 21st century and protect the children until they're ready to be on their own.
Nutta has also began production on a new Wiki Channel Original Movie based on the hit app Temple Run. It will star newcomer Alan Hall as Stuart Guy, also known as Guy Dangerous. Hall will be joined by Kyle Collins (Break Free), Jake Daugherty (Miss Good Girl, Kitty Couture), and newcomers Maddie Roller and Sloane Belicion. The movie will finish filming in April and is set to premiere in mid-2015.
The Wiki Channel is a brand new 24/7 running network that provides programming for kids, teens, and families. The channel was founded in 2012 by NYCgleek and Nutta of da Buttas. It currently airs a number hit shows. Wiki Channel is a part of the Wiki Company.
