Kristin is a Christian and has been since she was 5 years old. She began singing when she was 2 and performed for the first time at her church when she was 4. She was prophesied to become a missionary by a woman at her church, and she believes that the woman was right, but instead of preaching, she spreads the good news through her music.
After being signed to Wiki Records for just over a year, Kristin joined a band known as Good News with two of her close friends, Cayce Hollins and Mercy Jones, and the group was also signed to Wiki Records. Her manager has since confirmed that her solo career has, at least for the time being, come to an end. Good News also left Wiki Records shortly thereafter to pursue a career with other companies.
